My grandchild likes chiffon cake, so I keep making them.
Kids say “Only a plain chiffon cake, please.”
So, I try using honey, cassonade, coconut oil, MCT oil, and various other ingredients.

From the youngest grandchild, I received photos for Setsubun.
Setsubun is a Japanese traditional event that celebrates the beginning of spring according to the lunar calendar. It usually falls around February 3rd or 4th. The main custom of Setsubun involves the ritual of mamemaki, or bean throwing. During this ritual, people throw roasted soybeans while shouting “Oni wa soto, fuku wa uchi” which means “Out with the demons, in with good luck”. The purpose is to drive away evil spirits and invite good fortune into the home.
She is dressed up as a demon.
She is so cute.
It seems that she’s crying loudly because she has diarrhea right now.
When I messaged “Should we go?” on LINE, my daughter who lives nearby replied,
“Don’t bother. You can’t do anything, right?”
My son said, “You’re just going to come and sleep, aren’t you?”
My family understood who I am.

誰かに必要とされているっていうのが生き甲斐なのだとつくづく思います。
一番下の孫からは…節分の用の写真が送られてきました。
鬼に変装していて、
かわいい。
でも、今、お腹を下してしまって、ギャン泣きしているようです。
「行こうか？」ってLINEしたら、
「やめときなよ。何もできないでしょう？」と近くに住む娘
「来て寝てるだけだろ？」と息子
と、よくわかっていらっしゃる。
欲張らず、出来る事をきちんとやっていきましょう。
