After finishing our senior couple’s trip, my wife and I head to our grandkids’ house.

The grandkids spot us in the park and run towards us, calling “Grandma”.

A little later, they notice me too and jump into my arms.

“Our wait is over!” my daughter exclaims with joy.

“What a relief to have someone who takes care of the children come back home,” she adds, letting out her true feelings.

My wife had bought “Yufuin no mori”, a train-themed goods for our train-loving grandchild and a Minnie Mouse apron for our granddaughter.

“Huh? Are these from Kyushu souvenirs? When did she get a Minnie Mouse apron?

I can’t do things like this, so I decide to make chiffon cake.

This is our family division of roles.

Having fun together while raising children is our family motto.

熟年夫婦旅行を終え、孫の家に向かいます。

公園でバアバを見つけて駆け寄る孫たち。

少し遅れて、ジイジにも気が付いて、飛びついてきます。

 「待ってました！」と、うれしがる娘。

「子どもの、面倒をみてくれる人が帰ってきてくれてほんと助すかるんだよね。」

本音がこぼれます。笑

 妻は、電車好きの孫にゆふいんの森号の電車グッズを購入し

孫娘には、ミニーマウスのエプロン？を用意していました。

え？九州土産？いつのまにミニーマウス？

こういうことは自分にはできないので

シフォンケーキを作ります。

 役割分担。

みんなで楽しく子育てが我が家のモットー💕
