I dressed up as an oni, a kind of Japanese demon, for Setsubun, one of the traditional Japanese events.

Grand kids were excited about throwing beans at an oni, which was me.

After the bean-throwing battle, we laughed that my daughter and I found a bean was flying onto the slices of meat for sukiyaki.

On a snowy day, I became the target in a snowball fight, but in this battle, I fought back against my grandkids.

These are Grandpa’s important role.

After a snowball fight, grandkids enjoyed Ice cream.

I was disappointed that my granddaughter chose the top-quality ice cream brand called Häagen-Dazs, which I had bought as a reward for myself.

The adults ate the milk chocolate and raspberry cake I made.

“This is super delicious.” my daughter said as she reached out to my plate.

雪合戦の後、孫はアイスクリームを食べました。

孫娘は…自分へのご褒美に買っておいた高価なハーゲンダッツに手を伸ばすじゃないですか…トホホです。

大人は、ジイジの作ったミルクチョコとフランボワーズのケーキを食べました。

「激ウマ」と娘は言いながら、こちらの皿まで手を伸ばしてきます。笑

甘い物は、笑顔を運んでくるんですね。笑
