Day 4 It’s a wildfire.

We headed west on Highway 14 from Cody and entered Yellowstone National Park from the East Gate.

While taking photos at the lake inside the park, we noticed a burnt smell.

This burnt smell could be associated with the motorcycle?

Rangers gathered, several helicopters flew above us, and started to take water from the lake.

It’s a wildfire.

It is said that Yellowstone national park has over 20 wildfires each year.

We followed the instructions of the ranger and rode our bikes to escape the wildfire.

We were chased by smoke, and as we turned the curves, we had to ride toward the smoke.

On the opposite shore of Yellowstone Lake, We visited the West Thumb Geyser Basin, Old Faithful, and Upper Falls.

Along the way, we were caught in a traffic jam, which was caused by a herd of buffalo crossing the road.

It was only when we intended to return to the motel that we noticed the road to Cody was closed.

Fortunately, we rented a one-room cottage. I slept with my Harley family.

My place was a just shade of a bed, I had a sofa.

Fortunately, we rented a one-room cottage.

I shared the sleeping space with my Harley family.

My sleeping place was just a shade of a bed. But…

Thanks to a sofa mattress, I had a very good sleep.
