My grandchild really enjoys chiffon cake I made.

One of my grandkids said, ” Say password!”.  He was imitating a ninja.

“Mountain!”

“River!”

As the door opens, my grandchildren jump up and down, welcoming me with joy.

　 Is there 名詞 available？　で「名詞は入手可能ですか？」

※ recently と lately ：「最近」
現在形と一緒に使わないこと！
現在形の文で使われる「最近」はnowadays / these days

※ Ding-dong!：「ピンポーン！」

※ 「バタバタという足音が聞こえて」と日本語が先行するとペンが進まないと思います。
なので、パラフレーズ化して
「足音がドアに向かってくるのを聞いて」とすれば…
