「努力は報われる」って本当？

Don’t believe too strongly that hard work always pays off.

Hard work is like buying a lottery ticket.

If you don’t buy a ticket, you can’t win.

In the same way, you can’t succeed without working hard.

But making an effort doesn’t always mean you will succeed.

To succeed, you need hard work, and a little luck.

「努力は必ず報われる」なんて、信じこみ過ぎるとよくないからね。

努力っていうのは、宝くじを買うのと一緒。

宝くじは買わなければ当たらないのと同じように、成功は努力なしにはありえない。

言い換えるならば、成功するためには、努力するのは当たり前のことであって、成功できるかどうかは運も必要だってこと。
