My favorite granddaughters

My granddaughter went to pick up my daughter who went to the beauty salon.

As soon as she spotted her mom, she exclaimed, “It’s Mom. It’s Mom.”

She immediately noticed her mother’s changed hairstyle and she said “Mom looks cute!”

Even though my granddaughter is only three years old and she didn’t know her mom was going to get her hair done, she is already a girl.

As my daughter joyfully lifts her up, my son-in-law said, “You look like a member of TWICE.”

However, his words failed to capture her heart.

She said, ” How you say it sounds like something a middle-aged man would say.”

My granddaughter may not be conventionally beautiful.

She likes clam miso soup and enjoys eating chicken skewers with cartilage.

However, she has a charming personality.

She was saying, “I’ll eat you up deliciously!” to the clams.

I have another granddaughter.

She lives at my son’s house.

She is adorable.

I want to hold her tight and give her lots of kisses.

But there’s a campaign going on at my son’s house where we have to pay 100 yen for each hug.

美容院に行った娘を孫娘が駅まで迎えにいきました。

ママを見つけるなり、孫は「あ！ママだ。ママかわいい！」と言って、すぐに髪型が変わった娘に気が付きます。

３歳なのに、髪を切りに行くなんて言ってたわけじゃないのに、そんなところにまで、気が付くなんて…。３歳ですでに孫は女子なのです。

娘がよろこんで孫を抱きあげてると、婿殿もすかさず、

「TWICEみたいですね。」と言うのですが、

「なんか、言い方がおじさんぽい。」と娘に無残にも切り捨てられます。

孫娘は、美形ではないかもしれません。

シジミの味噌汁が好きで、やきとりは軟骨が好きで、でも、愛嬌がわるのです。

「シジミさん、おいしく食べてあげるからね。」と声をかけているのです。

 

息子の家の孫もかわいくて、なめまわしたいのですが、

「抱っこ１回１００円」というキャンペーン中のようなんです。
