Day 6 remote winding roads

Pennie and I decided to visit Yellowstone National Park again.

We took Route 296, Chief Joseph Scenic Byway.

Just a 15-minute ride from Cody took us to the wilderness.

The wilderness gradually forms hills.

We rode up to the top of the hill and descended into valleys.

We took winding roads and enjoyed gentle curves.

Imposing Pilot Peak welcomes us.

I know tourist spots are beautiful, and encountering wildlife is exciting, but I felt that these remote winding roads, filled with a certain charm, touched the hearts of travelers.

“Pennie, please, let’s ride a little slower.”
