香りの目覚まし時計
今朝はいつも通り早く起きて、フィナンシェを焼きました。
妻の寝ている部屋のドアを少しだけあけて…
良い匂いの中…目覚めてもらうというイベントです。
目をさました妻は、階段を下りながら言います。
「朝から～うるさいのよ！まったく～♪」
「………」
そっと、お皿に２つ載せて出すと…
「いらない！」って言ってたのに
ペロッと食べてます。
「お腹すいてたから２個食べっちゃった」だって…。
我が家らしい休日の始まりです。
Aroma Alarm Clock
As usual, I woke up early this morning and baked some financiers.
I quietly cracked open the door to my wife’s room…
Hoping the sweet aroma would gently wake her up.
As she came down the stairs, still half-asleep, she said,
“You’re so noisy in the morning! Honestly~♪”
“…”
Without a word, I placed two little cakes on a plate and set them out for her.
She said, “I don’t want any!” — and yet…
She ended up eating them all.
“I was hungry, so I ate both,” she said with a little grin.
And just like that, another peaceful weekend morning begins in our home.
